Practice Policies & Patient Information
Our Policies
Our staff are committed to providing quality healthcare for the benefit of all of our patients. View our policies to see how this is achieved.
Friends of Cuckoo Lane
Our Patient Participation Group (PPG), Friends of Cuckoo Lane is intended to foster good relations between the Surgery and patients and secondly, to act as a conduit for communication in both directions between the Surgery and patients.
Our Friends also help out with practice events including planning and implementation. You can help as little or as much as your schedule allows.
The Friends of Cuckoo Lane need to hear about any concerns you might have with regards to the Practice and the way it functions. You can let us know by writing to us, using the email below or speaking directly to a member of staff at the surgery.
Contact the Patient Group
Contact the Patient Participation Group with any suggestions, comments and feedback for the forum meetings by sending an email to [email protected]
What does the group do?
Physical face to face meetings are often too difficult for patients to attend so we are now mostly a virtual group with physical meetings no more than once a year. We will occasionally email you to ask your opinion on various issues. We may also ask for your help at some of our open days such as the Macmillan coffee mornings and other events like that.

Please note that this group is not an appropriate place to discuss personal issues. This is because the practice has a formal complaints procedure for dealing with personal issues. But that is not to say that all personal issues are restricted to using the formal complaints procedure in order to have matters righted because, if sufficient numbers of patients were to raise concerns on the same issue, then it would come within the remit of the PPG to seek a remedy.
Friends & Family Test
We want you to have the best possible experience of care. The NHS Friends and Family Test is a way of gathering your feedback, so we can continually review our service.
Your feedback will help us learn more about what you think of your experience – what you like and what you think we could improve. Ultimately, you’re helping us to make changes that will ensure we can offer the best possible care.
